Versa Valve Challenge
Versa Products Co. Inc., a premier manufacturer of pneumatic, hydraulic, manual, and solenoid valves since 1949 is offering you a new opportunity! Use a Versa solenoid valve in your 2009 Trinity College Fire-Fighting Robot to qualify to win a $500 cash award in each contest division for the best robot that uses a Versa valve to extinguish the candle. You can use your valve to develop a non-air extinguisher according to
the contest rules (see Section II
3.3.1 of the TCFFHRC rules). Take advantage of the non-air score reduction!
Your Versa valve will work with liquids or gases, so you can build an extinguisher that uses CO2 or water, for example. Click here for some technical hints.
