The Connecticut Council on
Developmental Disabilities is pleased to sponsor a “RoboWaiter”
competition on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Trinity College, Hartford.
The “RoboWaiter” competition is in collaboration with the Trinity
College Fire Fighting Home Robot Contest. Please see the
Rules section of this website
for further information.
Members of the CT Council on
Developmental Disabilities led the design of the RoboWaiter
competition. In this competition, the main object is to create an
autonomous robot that can find and carry a plate of food from a
refrigerator to a person with a disability.
In addition, the Council will sponsor
a Symposium speaker on the evening of April 4, 2009. Please check the
website often for information about the speaker and the time for this
event.
